Yesterday I Was 27

So today is my 28th birthday. And I'm happy to say that 27 was a really good year for me. While I'm nowhere near self-actualization, I really do feel like I've had an awakening of sorts. I learned so much about myself at 27...OMG, I think I'm blossoming into a woman! LOL.

So I found this piece of work by Virginia Swift called Enough: The Awakening, and although it's a little long, I feel like it kinda says where I am right now - well for the most part...the stuff about Prince Charming and fairytales is a bit much.

And I'd just like to point out that the fact that the link goes to a site for narcissicistic personality disorder is entirely coincidental. Inarguably, I have some disorders, but I don't believe this is one of them.

Now if I could only get over my fear of lizards...
