V-Day Workout

I know from a couple of your posts that you work out, so you're a good person to ask this question. I don't have a valentine this year, and I was going to spend it at the gym, but I feel like it will make me look alone and even a little desperate. My friends are saying the same thing, and now I think I should just stay home that day. I don't want to go to the gym and have people giving me pitying looks. What do you think? Would you go to the gym on valentine's day?
In all fairness you sent your question before I wrote my thoughts on V-Day, so you've probably read that response by now. I don't wanna sound harsh, but you kinda sound desperate and alone right now - even without the Valentine's Day question. If you're more concerned with people's perception of you rather than what you want to do, then you have a bigger problem.
I'll be in the gym on V-Day, like I am every other Wednesday...and I'm sure I'll see the same people I see there every other Wednesday. LOL. And if seeing someone at the gym on V-Day means that they're single and alone (instead of just anti-Valentines day) then I certainly I hope I see Dreamy Dread there (MAJOR update on that, BTW). Oh boy do I hope I see him on Wednesday! Besides, you don't get a fabulous body like mine worrying about what people think...hehe. Sorry I couldn't help myself.

i will definitely be in the gym on v-day...my programme calls for chest and triceps on a wednesday and that's what i will be doing....the thought that it would be valentines day didn't even cross my mind....
I'm going on a first date. I suggested McDonald's so we could sit longer without being pressured by the waitress to order more or leave. He didn't go for it.

Ladies, I am not a V-D celebrant, and I shall be in the gym, as per usual..tomorrow will be even better, cause it will be empty in there...I can stay on the elliptic machine as long as I want.
here's to not having a happy v-d...but to a great cardio, tricep/chest workout day!

@Kara, I'm with ya...I got an FDNY physical exam to pass, I can't be taking days off just because.
