Dear John Returns...And Other Random Bits
So Dear John has returned. (Remember when I said that they always come back, and y'all thought I was being conceited? I really wasn't...now you see for yourself). Anyway, I digress...He came slithering back the same way he'd left, declaring (via lame email) that he was "back for the summer" and wanting to know what I'd been up to...as if he'd just left to go on vacation.
"I'm surprised to hear from you," I began. "I thought your last email was a very shady way to leave things, especially since you were the one that had suggested the meeting in the first place..." Then I answered all his other questions. Not surprisingly his response addressed every other detail of my email except my major contention. Now he wants to meet, but he's sooooo last month. I'm over it...
Speaking of being over it, I think it's hilarious that Anonymous got her panties in such a wad over my opinion of SATC. Especially after hearing (SPOILER ALERT) that Samantha celebrates her 50th birthday in the movie. *dies* Even funnier is finding a parody (well, the parody isn't really that funny) starring...Bea Arthur! (I swear, when I made the Golden Girls comment, I had no idea this existed). I tell ya...if people found me even half as funny as I found myself, I'd have my own show right now...
And reinforcing my theory that Japanese dudes are hot, is none other than Hok. Yes, he's only 24, but mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm...I'd give up shrimp for him...
BTW, I didn't learn my lesson. Mr. Four Popped Collars Cute was weird...I mean really weird. He'd wander away in the middle of a conversation, then reappear 10 minutes later like he'd never left. It ended before it even began. LOL. I swore off dating artists, younger dudes, and writers...I think I'm now down to a wading pool...LMAO.

@Owen, yup, there's a window. Which is precisely why I'm over him. And in summer at that! He has more nerve than my funny bone.

LOL And as for 4PCs...artists are notoriously known for being flighty....perhaps he was chasing his muse? which in the event that WAS true, it would be doubly rude...because really, YOU should have been his inspiration ( :duck: )
